2025-12-8 NTUT College of Management Participates in TABS Annual Conference to Strengthen AACSB Engagement

Professor Shu-Kai Fan, Dean of the College of Management at National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), and Professor Liang-Chih Liu, Associate Dean, recently participated in the 2025 Annual Conference of the Taiwan Association of Business Schools (TABS). The event brought together deans and senior faculty from business schools nationwide to exchange insights on emerging trends and innovations in business education. The conference was held on December 5 at the College of Business, Soochow University, with a strong focus on internationalization and AACSB accreditation.

A highlight of the conference was a keynote address by Dr. Geoff Perry, Vice President of AACSB for the Asia Pacific region, who delivered an in-depth analysis of global trends and challenges in business education. Drawing on the AACSB accreditation framework, he emphasized how business schools can enhance learning assurance, faculty development, and societal impact to better respond to the rapidly evolving demands of industry and society. His presentation provided valuable guidance for institutions committed to continuous improvement under AACSB standards.

Dean Fan was also invited to participate in Deans’ Forum II, themed “From Professional Learning to Leadership Practice.” He shared NTUT College of Management’s experiences and challenges in master’s-level management education, highlighting its practice-oriented curriculum design and strong industry–academia collaboration. His insights sparked active discussion among participating deans.

In addition, Associate Dean Liu engaged in professional exchanges with representatives from other institutions on AACSB accreditation practices, curriculum innovation, and quality assurance mechanisms. Through active participation in this annual conference, NTUT College of Management demonstrated its ongoing commitment to aligning with AACSB international standards and to advancing educational quality and global visibility in business education.
