2025-01-11 NTUT & PKNU Joint Workshop
This workshop, initiated and coordinated by Dean Shu-Kai Fan of the College of Management at Taipei Tech, was a significant international joint Workshop between Taiwan and Korea. Held on January 7, 2025, at the NTUT International Conference Hall, it featured a delegation of 69 members from Korea’s Pukyong National University College of Engineering, led by Dean Dr. Young Jin Kim. The delegation included 65 professors and 4 staff members. NTUT was represented by 45 enthusiastic professors from the Colleges of Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Following the opening ceremony, the 110 professors were divided into five groups for focused discussions. This workshop provided a valuable platform for researchers and scholars from diverse backgrounds at both institutions to collaborate, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions in engineering education and research. The five colleges from both universities highly commended the outcomes of this international joint workshop and expressed strong anticipation for further student interactions and academic collaborations in the near future.
After the workshop, Dean Kim of Pukyong National University’s College of Engineering extended his appreciation to the College of Management for their preparation and organization. His gratitude included the following remarks: "I particularly appreciated the well-curated agenda, the selection of speakers, and the interactive sessions that facilitated meaningful discussions and networking opportunities. The venue and facilities were exceptional, creating an environment conducive to learning and collaboration."
