2026-04-27 College of Management Actively Participates in AACSB 2026 ICAM, Expanding New Opportunities for International Collaboration

Dean Shu-Kai Fan of the College of Management and AACSB Executive Director Liang-Chih Liu attended the AACSB 2026 International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) held in Seattle, USA, from April 13 to 15. As one of the most important annual events in international business education accreditation, the conference brought together leaders in business education, scholars, and accreditation experts from around the world to discuss emerging trends in management education, quality assurance mechanisms, and new directions for global collaboration.

During the conference, Dean Fan and Executive Director Liu participated in a variety of keynote speeches, forums, and panel discussions. They also took part in the voting process on the new AACSB framework to be implemented in 2026, demonstrating the College’s continued commitment to staying aligned with international accreditation developments and global standards in business education. Through in-depth exchanges with representatives from different countries, they gained further insight into key issues in contemporary management education, including sustainability governance, innovative teaching, academic impact, and international engagement.

In addition, the College completed the recognition photo ceremony for passing the 2025 CIR review during the conference, marking another significant milestone in its efforts to enhance educational quality and advance international accreditation. This achievement not only highlights the College’s long-term dedication to teaching excellence, strategic governance, and continuous improvement, but also strengthens its visibility and influence in the global business education community.

To further expand international partnerships, Dean Fan and Executive Director Liu also took advantage of the networking opportunities at ICAM to hold a series of collaboration meetings with AACSB member institutions, including Chulalongkorn University, Sasin School of Management, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Nagoya University of Commerce & Business, and Michigan State University. Discussions focused on student exchange programs, dual-degree opportunities, faculty collaboration, short-term study programs, and international projects, laying a solid foundation for future substantive cooperation.

The College of Management stated that it will continue to deepen its ties with leading business schools worldwide, actively broaden its global partnership network, enhance international mobility and academic exchange opportunities for faculty and students, and, building on the foundation of international accreditation, continue advancing the College’s overall development and educational quality toward becoming a business school with greater global impact.
